Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the iPhone application AI Live Wallpaper (“the Application”). The Application generates a wallpaper from a text prompt, animates it into a Live Photo, and can turn a video already in your library into a Live Photo. Generating and animating require sending your prompt to our backend and on to the AI processing provider named in Section 5, which the Application asks your permission for before anything is sent. Converting a video you already have does not.

1. What the Application collects, and why

1.1 Prompts, reference photos and generated results

• When you create a wallpaper, the Application sends your text prompt, the style you chose, and the reference photo you added if you added one, to our backend. When you animate it, the motion prompt is sent the same way.
• Our backend forwards them to the AI provider that runs the model, listed in Section 5, and stores the resulting image and clip so they appear in your Creations library on later launches.
• This content is used only to produce what you asked for and to keep the service working. We do not use your prompts, photos or results to train models, and we do not sell them.
• Deleting a creation in the Application removes it from your library.

1.2 Your account

• The Application creates an anonymous account. There is no sign-in, no email address and no password: a random identifier is generated on your device and used to register with our backend.
• That account exists only to hold your credit balance and your Creations library. We do not receive your name, your email address or your Apple ID.

1.3 Analytics, diagnostics and third-party SDKs

The Application uses the following services:

• RevenueCat handles purchases and subscriptions using transaction events, our anonymous account identifier and device identifiers. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics for Firebase collects app-instance identifiers, app usage and session events, purchase-related events, and device and app information to help us understand usage and improve the Application. This may include device model, operating system, app version, language and approximate geographic information. We use the Analytics Core SDK without advertising identifier (IDFA) support.
• Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports, stack traces, installation identifiers and device/app diagnostics to help us identify and fix crashes.
• Firebase Performance Monitoring collects startup and network performance measurements, including request URLs, timing, response codes, payload sizes, device/app information and installation identifiers. IP addresses may be processed to determine country-level performance.
• App configuration uses installation identifiers and app/device information to deliver app settings and control feature availability.

These services are provided by Google. See Firebase Privacy and Security and Google’s Privacy Policy for their processing and retention practices.

Firebase initializes when the Application launches. Usage and diagnostic data may be sent automatically, independently of the AI-generation consent described in Section 6. We do not deliberately attach your prompts, reference photos, video contents or onboarding answers to Firebase events or crash reports.

1.4 Device permissions

• Saving to Photos: the Application asks for add-only access the first time you save a Live Photo, an image or a video. Add-only means it can put files into your library and cannot read what is already there.
• Choosing a photo or video: the picker is Apple’s own and runs outside the Application. It hands over only the item you selected, so no library access is granted and nothing else is visible to us.
• The Application does not request your location, contacts, camera or microphone.

1.5 Images of people

• A reference photo you add may contain a face. It is used for one thing: producing the wallpaper you asked for.
• Reference photos are not used to train models, are not used for advertising, and are not sold.
• Anything you save to your device stays there until you delete it.

1.6 Onboarding preferences

Your answers about your intended use and preferred wallpaper style are saved on your device. The style preference supplies a starting style for new creations, which you can change. If you generate a wallpaper, the style you use is included in the generation request described in Section 1.1.

2. Storage and security

• Uploads and generated results are held in object storage we operate, and are processed by the providers in Section 5 for the duration of a request.
• All transmission between the Application, our backend and those providers uses TLS/HTTPS.
• Generated wallpapers are also cached on your device so the Creations library does not re-download them; deleting the Application removes that cache.
• Usage and diagnostic records are also processed by Google under the service-specific retention practices linked in Section 1.3. Deleting a creation does not delete independent analytics or crash records. Service providers may process data in countries other than where you live.
• We apply industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

3. Children’s privacy

• The Application is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
• If you believe we have, contact us at the address in Section 9 and we will delete it.

4. Your choices

• Delete any creation from within the Application.
• Change or revoke Photos access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
• Delete the Application to remove its local cache. This does not automatically delete server-side records or all identifiers retained by iOS or service providers.
• Ask us for a copy of, or the deletion of, the data attached to your account — see Section 9. Because the account is anonymous, we will need the identifier shown in Settings to find it.

5. Who receives your prompts and photos

Your prompts and reference photos are sent only to:

• Replicate, Inc. — the AI processing provider that runs the models which draw and animate your wallpaper. Privacy Policy

Replicate acts as a processor for a single request. The models offered in the Application change as better ones appear, and the creators of whichever model runs your request are reached through Replicate; your content is subject to their terms while that request is running.

6. Your permission for AI generation

• Before any generation data leaves your device, the Application shows a consent screen. It states what is sent, where it goes, and what it is used for.
• You may choose Not Now or Agree & Continue. If you do not agree, the create flow does not open and your prompts and reference photos are not sent for AI generation.
• Your answer is remembered, so you are asked once rather than before every wallpaper. Reinstalling the Application asks again.
• Turning a video you already have into a Live Photo is not covered by this prompt, because the video stays on your device. Usage and diagnostic telemetry is separate from the video content.
• This consent screen does not control Firebase Analytics, diagnostics, app configuration or purchase processing. The current app does not provide an in-app toggle for Firebase telemetry. Contact us using Section 9 with privacy questions or requests.

7. Credits, purchases and subscriptions

• Credits: generating an image and animating it each cost credits. The cost is shown on the button before you confirm.
• Credit packs are consumable in-app purchases. Item, price and quantity are disclosed in the App Store before you buy.
• Subscriptions are auto-renewing and include a periodic credit allowance. Title, duration and price are disclosed in the App Store before you buy.
• Auto-renewal: a subscription renews at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID on confirmation and at each renewal.
• Managing a subscription: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.

8. Changes to this policy

• We may update this policy. The current version is always posted here, with the date it took effect at the top.
• Changes take effect once posted, so it is worth checking back occasionally.
